Cambie Dress with Full Skirt

I LOVE the Cambie Dress from Sewaholic Patterns www.sewaholicpatterns.com. This time I made version B.
I used a very soft cotton lawn fabric and lined it with a ultra soft lightweight cotton. It is so comfy!
I used part of the border of the fabric to cut out the belt part. I LOVE how that came out!
When I was finished I didn't like the length - it seemed too long so I cut off a LOT in the front and made a cascading hem line.
After that hack job I was a little nervous that it was going to be to short! But as I wear it, it feels so cool and light on these hot summer days! Thank goodness!!!!!!!

Oh Yes! that belt came out well and gives me more ideas for further versions of this dress!
I am a little shy about showing so much of my legs at my age.

Honesty,
Courage,
Sacrifice ( which means offering),
Patience.
